Elizabeth Rose, Winner of Independent Womenswear Retailer for 2006/2007

We were delighted to receive the Drapers award for best Independent Womenswear Retailer for 2006, a prestigious award given by the fashion industry.

The award ceremony took place at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London on 22 November at a star-studded event attended by 1,200 major fashion retailers. The awards were presented by comedian Jimmy Carr and winners for other categories included Marks and Spencers, Mamas and Papas, Topman, Sainsburys and River Island. It was an amazing evening and we were up against some stiff competition so we were overwhelmed when Elizabeth Rose's name was announced.

This award would not have been won without the hard work and dedication of our staff and the loyalty that our customers have shown over the years.

Our 30 Year Celebration

On Tuesday 3rd November, 2009 we celebrated our 30th year in business by putting on a cocktail party for all our customers in the shop. The shop was bursting with guests and there was a lovely atmosphere. Champagne flowed and gorgeous canapés were enjoyed. Customers enjoyed seeing Jane our model showing some of the latest pre-Christmas collections and some gorgeous evening wear outfits from Joseph Ribkoff. On display we had compiled a wonderful collection of old photographs of our first shop along with some fantastic photos of our fashion shows held in the shop showing some of the 80's styles!

Michael and I wanted to thank all of you who came and joined in our 30th celebrations. A big thank you for those of you who were unable to come on the day and whom kindly sent us lovely cards and flowers. Some of the photos that were taken on the day are on the left and I hope you enjoy looking at them.

Many thanks once again and here's to the next 30 years.
